Ice Scream: Horror Neighborhood (Ice Scream: Horror Adventure on iOS),[5] also known as Ice Scream: Terror in the Neighborhood,[6] or simply Ice Scream, is the 1st installment in the Ice Scream: Horror Neighborhood video game series. It was developed and published by Keplerians Horror Games.

The game received a video on the DanTDM channel on April 7, 2020, titled "DanTDM Meets ROD from ICE SCREAM!".

Plot

The game sees the player (Daniel J.)[7] attempting to rescue his friend Charlie (who Daniel Middleton named Jeffrey) by solving puzzles while avoiding the owner of the ice scream shop Frosty & Wheels Ice Scream, Rod Sullivan (who kidnapped Charlie).

Reception

Ice Scream was met with poor reception from critics, receiving a 1 star on parental awareness site Common Sense Media,[8] citing that "awkward controls ruin teen-focused fright fest", however, the game was positively reviewed by players, receiving 4.3 stars on Google Play,[3] 4.6 stars on App Store,[2] and 4.5 on emulator site MEmu.[9]

The game received 10 thousand downloads within the early hours of the game being available on Google Play.[10]

Gaming channel FGTeeV's video of Ice Scream, ICE SCREAM MAN! Scary Game Where Chump Plubby Ones Don't Survive (FGTEEV),[11] reached number 1 trending in YouTube Gaming in the United States of America.[12]
