Plot
In this Minecraft Hardcore video, Dan witnessing a squid die. He recaps, saying he made a sugarcane farm and a wheat farm. He also started the Cloud Factory off camera. His house is filled with glass and other items, all of which are neatly organised.
He smelts sand for glass and moves the soul sand elevator out of the way to make way for the exit elevator. He created 2 streams lined up(soul sand for the entrance, magma blocks for the exit). He also fixes the stream with some glass, then Dan gets jumpscared by cave ambience. He suspects the sheep are the culprits or the chicken in the distance.
He uses the source block method to fix the elevator. And the exit. He almost dies by not having support under the cobble that he mined and is left at 3 and a half hearts but he heals. Dan declares a squid sanctuary as a W.I.P. for the future.
He finally places the magma and the elevator works. He then breeds some sheep. He enters the Realm Ravine and gets confused, but eventually finds 5 diamonds and then another 6 diamonds, but he wants Fortune III to get get boost for those diamonds. He reveals his plan for the enchanting table with 15 bookshelves, but he only had enough leather for 5 books, so he goes to get more, starting the infamous 'Leather Crisis'.
He also reveals his plans for the Villager Vending Machine prototype. He mounts buddy and sets off. He leaves no survivors and shows no mercy for neither cow nor pigs, sheep and eventually horses. However, he wants to find a village to salvage bookshelves from instead as a last resort before a cruel crusade.
He comes across a flower field and a swamp. and a donkey.. He finds a savannah village and completely strips it of everything. He also loses Buddy due to a glitch. He (falsely) realizes he needs 75 (45) books for 15 bookshelves, 5 of which he already has.
He re-logs on and Buddy re-spawns but he leaves the village since there were no bookshelves. He finds a mesa biome and explores the mineshaft but is more interested in the rails than the actual shaft. He puts Buddy in a hole to keep him safe. He takes on an Enderman stuck in a cobweb.
He mines all the gold and rails from the mineshaft. He also strikes down the cobwebs and grabs the loot from the chests. However, he gets into an altercation with a cave spider spawner and quickly deserts, but he gets poisoned. He reenters, breaking the cave spider spawner, using his shield to block the attacks of the cave spiders. He destroys the spawner and kills the unlucky cave spiders that just spawned in.
The other spiders were expelled from their nest. With that threat gone, he could easily colonize the shaft. After he makes sure that every square inch of it is owned by his estate, he leaves in search of more leather. He gets scared by the wandering trader that followed him to the mesas. He gives up on Leather and heads home to unload his inventory.
He crafts an enchanting table and places it on the top floor. Dan's maths ws wrong so he only needs 45 books for the 15 bookshelves, 5 of which he already has. He grabs a brewing stand and a grindstone from the other village. He arrives in a plains village.
He grabs 3 leather from one chest and 17 from other chests. He also finds a leatherworker that trades for leather and says that its a shame he dosen't have emeralds. He continues cow hunting. He says that horses drop leather more often than cows (which is false).
He resorts to killing horses and says two horses, but they have a baby, so he kills two loner horses instead. However, he goes back to hunting cows as he feels too bad. He eventually gets all the leather he needs, ending the Leather Crisis.
It turns to night so he rushes back to the castle with Buddy. On the bay back, the village descends into absolute anarchy, signalling the start of the Great Zombie Attack. Creepers, zombies and skeletons are fighting The Unnamed Iron Golem. He is doing big damage but the Richies( gold armour skeletons), overpower him and eventually kill him. His remains are later unconsciously picked up by Dan.
