Melanie the Robot (or simply Melbot) is a character that appears in some of DanTDM's Custom Mod Adventures videos. She is a robot that was built by Dr Trayaurus on February 28, 2016.
History
First Appearance
Melbot was first introduced in a Custom Mod Adventure video called "INTRODUCING MELBOT!!". Dan and Dr Trayaurus needs a new assistant, they get 3 volunteers, Trayaurus makes 3 tasks for them, no one manages to complete them all, so Trayaurus builds Melbot to be the new assistant.

Trivia
- Melbot is a portmanteau of the words "Melanie" and "Robot"
- Melbot was also a huge part and the antagonist of DanTDM's live show The Contest.
- On August 17, 2024, Dan's new Minecraft video, DanTDM has a bow and he named it "Melbot" mentioning Melbot.
