The Companion is a key character in Minecraft Hardcore Season 2. He and DanTDM have a "soul link", meaning that if the villager dies, so does Dan. The Companion has 20 hearts, can wear armour, and can use a Totem of Undying. Also, the only way The Companion can be healed is with Golden Apples.
