He lives with Dan and Grim in the Lab. He has a mother that was kidnapped by a witch and turned into one. He then met her in the episode 'Trayaurus and the Witch' and after a series of events, found out it was her. The most recent episodes of her was in the Custom Mod Adventure 'Wizard Training School' where Tray's mum is happy to teach them wizardry. It is also possible that Dr. Trayaurus is related to the [[Companion]] in some way.

When Dr. Trayaurus was a sim (possibly still as a villager) he married [[Bristol Milam]], the sister of [[Isaac Milam]]. They only met up after Dr. Trayaurus ditched [[Genesis Lu|his date]] at a bar, Bristol being the barmaid. Together they had three children - [[Herbert Trayaurus|Herbert]] (first appeared in [[HERE COMES THE BABY!!|HERE COMES THE BABY!! | The Sims 4 Gameplay #7]]), and [[Ralph Trayaurus|Ralph]] and [[Amira Trayaurus|Amira]], who were twins (first appeared in [[TWINS?!?!|TWINS?!?! | The Sims 4 Gameplay #10]]). Ralph died of embarrassment in the video "[[SOMEONE DIES OF EMBARRASSMENT?!|The Sims 4 | SOMEONE DIES OF EMBARRASSMENT?! | Get To Work #2]]" and Herbert and Amira last appeared in the video "[[LET'S GO CAMPING!!|The Sims 4 | LET'S GO CAMPING!! | Get To Work / Outdoor Retreat #11]]" released on 27 June, 2015.
