According to Dan, in the Who Is Peggy The Pug? video, said that she was originally found wandering in a park, indicating that she was a stray. She was later adopted from a pound by Dan and Jemma. She has two sisters named Darcie and Ellie. She passed away on September 17, 2017, at the age of 2.
