The former lab was used in DanTDM's old videos where he used the lab for many Mod Showcases, experiments and many other things. The Lab has also three versions; the old one and the new one and the early stage one. Currently, the New Lab is located in a Jungle where it holds a lot of trees.

The original was used until February 13, 2016, where, in a video, Dr Trayaurus sells the old lab and surprises DanTDM with a brand-new one built by NoxCrew and allegedly himself. The original lab was then abandoned until Dan revisited it three years later on the 27th of April, 2019. The original lab was there after up for sale until a video taking place on the 27th of April, 2019, where DanTDM, Dr Trayaurus, and [[Grim]] visit the lab after having abandoned it for three years. At the very end of the video, DanTDM and Dr Trayaurus talked about buying it back, making it safe to assume that they did so.

The entrance to the original lab is an L-shaped hallway. It leads to the main area containing a coal-made section and the entrances to Dr Trayaurus’ office and the Testing Chamber. Dr Trayaurus' Office consists of two built-in benches, as well as Trayaurus’ trademark golden laptop, a clock, a chest, a secret entrance to what is known as the Treasure Room, and a door leading to the Observation Deck. The Testing Chamber is a relatively large room in which many experiments take place, situated above water in case of any dangerous explosions or experiments. The Observation Deck is a tiny, corridor-like room made for viewing experiments taking place in the Testing Chamber in a relatively safe and harmless environment. This room includes another golden laptop as well as a lever made for activating many different kinds of experiments and a redstone torch. Under the lab, there is situated the Treasure Room, a long corridor-like room with many different compartments decorated with various memorabilia representing the different adventures DanTDM and Dr Trayaurus have been on through the years. This room is reached through a secret hole in the floor of Dr Trayaurus’ office revealed by standing on a pressure plate. To get back up, there is a small compartment with two pressure plates made to teleport the person up to the main area.

The new lab is situated on the bank of an ocean, surrounded by many jungle trees and hills. A wooden dock can be seen at the shoreline with boats usually docked at it. A plane is generally seen near this on a helipad situated on the ground, although it seems to have yet to be flown by DanTDM or Dr Trayaurus. The lab is made up of four main gigantic rooms, all circle-shaped with a gigantic blue-tinted glass dome as a roof: the main area, with a desk and gigantic crystal, said to power the entire place; the Testing Chamber, a big, mostly empty space where most of the experiments take place; the "Natural Environment" Room, a room full of grass, trees, bushes, etc, simulating a real environment; and Dr Trayaurus' Office, with a grand staircase leading up to a balcony with various tables, couches, chairs, and even a fake tree, with a door leading out to the "Open Field Testing Area", being in reality just the outside jungle. Underneath this balcony is a room with testing equipment and computers, and a door leading to the Treasure Vault, a replacement of the old Treasure Room, with different compartments containing memorabilia for all sorts of other adventures he and Dr Trayaurus go on. DanTDM meant to move every room from the Treasure Room into the Treasure Vault, but never ended up doing so, as using the new lab was short-lived. In the distance is a hill with a gigantic aerial, presumably for receiving and outputting signals.

Dr Trayaurus' Lab refers to the lab that DanTDM and Dr Trayaurus use and live in throughout their many adventures and experiments.
