He started making videos in 2010 on a channel named [[PokemanDanLv45|PokemanDanLvl45]].  Later on in 2012, he created a channel called "[[DanTDM (channel)|TheDiamondMinecart]]" then changed it to "[[DanTDM (channel)|TheDiamondMinecart // DanTDM]]" to rank higher than all of the spam accounts impersonating him.  Not to long later, it was made simply "[[DanTDM (channel)|DanTDM]]" as search results got improved.
