The Mason was generated into the village and worked as a mason until DanTDM showed up and offered him clay. In return, the Mason gave him 29 emeralds, making Dan rich. He could be seen in the village in the background while Dan was working on his castle. He presumably died in the Great Zombie Attack, since there was no mason in the villager breeding pit in Episode 4.
